Armed with a degree in agriculture from the University of Florida, John’s passion for orchids has only deepened over the years.
Meanwhile, Louise, a rising star in the realm of rose judging, brought her talents from Maryland to Florida, where she soon discovered the unique challenges of growing roses in the southern climate. Her journey led her to the verdant greenhouses of Odom’s Orchids, where she transitioned from a dedicated volunteer to a valued business partner, eventually sharing her life with John.
Spanning an expansive 90,000 square feet of enchanting greenhouses, Odom’s Orchids stands out as a premier destination for orchid enthusiasts, boasting a vast array of Cattleya orchids as well as various other stunning species such as Vandas, Phalaenopsis, and Lady Slippers. Here, the majority of our orchids are already in full bloom, eliminating the long wait typically associated with nurturing these delicate plants.
