This popular variety of mangoes is typically grown in and around the South Indian state of Karnataka and is sometimes referred to as Sweet or Pairi Mango.

Oval in shape, the skin of this fruit is a mixture of red and yellow colors, but unlike the pulp, it is inedible. The taste of the pulp is warm and sweet and has a rich aromatic flavor.
